{"id":26765,"date":"2021-08-27T08:11:56","date_gmt":"2021-08-27T12:11:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cssregtech.com\/?p=26765"},"modified":"2023-05-17T06:29:46","modified_gmt":"2023-05-17T10:29:46","slug":"priips-and-ucits-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cssregtech.com\/de\/2021\/08\/priips-and-ucits-update","title":{"rendered":"PRIIPs and UCITS Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On the 15 July 2021 an 8-week <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/law\/better-regulation\/have-your-say\/initiatives\/12987-Regulation-on-packaged-retail-and-insurance-based-investment-products-PRIIPs-update_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>consultation<\/strong><\/a> was kicked off by The European Commission that closes on 9 September 2021 regarding the expected proposals to amend the PRIIPs Regulation and handle the UCITS KIID to PRIIPs KID transition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The proposal has two quick fixes &#8211; one each for PRIIPs and UCITS:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>PRIIPs<\/strong> \u2013 see <a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/?uri=CELEX:52021PC0397\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a><\/li><li><strong>UCITS<\/strong> \u2013 see <a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/EN\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=CELEX:52021PC0399&amp;from=EN\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a><br><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The proposals outline the transition plan to replace the UCITS KIID disclosure document with the revised PRIIPs KID based on the RTS adopted by the ESAs in February earlier this year.
