{"id":26741,"date":"2021-08-18T10:48:55","date_gmt":"2021-08-18T14:48:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cssregtech.com\/?p=26741"},"modified":"2023-05-17T06:29:47","modified_gmt":"2023-05-17T10:29:47","slug":"bill-to-shorten-window-of-13f-filings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cssregtech.com\/de\/2021\/08\/bill-to-shorten-window-of-13f-filings","title":{"rendered":"Bill to Shorten Window of 13F Filings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On July 29, the US House Financial Services Committee voted to advance a new bill that would shorten the 13F filing window and require short-seller disclosures to the floor of the House of Representatives. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/financialservices.house.gov\/uploadedfiles\/bills-1174618ih.pdf\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bill HR 4618<\/a> <\/strong>\u2013 also known as the Short Sale Transparency and Market Fairness Act \u2013 would require asset managers responsible for more than $100M in assets under management to file ownership reports with the SEC no later than 10 days after the end of each month.
